China is a big agricultural country."Agriculture, countryside and peasant"problem affects not only the development of national economy, but also relates to the stability of the whole society and the full realization of modernization. After the policy of reform and opening, with the acceleration of urbanization process, the rural in China are transforming from traditional farming society to the moderns, self-supporting and semi-self-sufficient economy to social market economy, closed and semi-closed society to the open, homogeneous to heterogeneous. How to respond to the questions that occurred during the construction of socialist new countryside, such as population flow, ecological vulnerability, industrial structure adjustment, improvement of infrastructures, farmers'livelihoods and so on, to maintain the vitality of rural landscape is a serious problem at present. In the paper, taking E'zhuang Town as the research object, which locates in Luzhong mountainous area of Shandong Province, whose man-land relationship is inconsistent and economy is poorer. Base on the theory of human settlement, landscape ecology and sustainable development, with the methods of field survey and empirical analysis, comparison and induction, system and the overall, the paper consists of the following components:①Basic research: expounds the research purpose and significance, the main contents and methods, research progress in the domestic and abroad, the related theories and the general situation of the researched area.②Landscpe pattern and it's dynamic change: based on the remote sensing imgae and other data, using 3S technology to analyze the law of landscpe pattern's dynamic change in 1990, 2000 and 2005.③The settlement landscape and it's evolution: From the different spatial scales (region- village- traditional dwellings) to explain the temporal and spatial features and the law of evolution of settlement landscape in different periods, and also to analyze the driver forces of evolution.④Rural productive landscape and it's evolution: For the natural, social and economic conditions, choosing the terraces as the main study object, to explore the landscape changes and the corresponding affecting factors.⑤The research of residents'perceptions and attitude to artistic painting and rural tourism: based on the evaluation of rural landscape resourses and attraction, together with the research of residents'perceptions and attitude to the booming of painting and rural tourism industries, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the healthy development of the artistic painting and rural tourism industries in the future. The main research conclusions:①The researched area is divided into 6 landscape types, such as cultivated land, woodland, grassland, town, village and the industrial and mining land, waters and the water facilities land, other land and so on. On the patch metric level, 4 landscape indexes are chosen——Patch Number (PN), Patch Density (PD), Total (class) Area (CA), Patch Shape (LSI), and Aggregation Index (AI). On the landscape metric level, 6 landscape indexes are chosen, they are Shannon Diversity Index (SHDI), Shannon Evenness Index (SHEI), Landscape Shape Index (LSI), Splitting Index (SPLIT), Aggregation Index (AI), and Mean Patch Fractal Dimension (FRAC-MN). The results show that the landscape pattern has dynamic change on the patch class and landscape level in 1990, 2000 and 2005. Overall, woodland is the landscape matrix and other landscape types are mosaic distribution. In different period the dynamic change law of landscape pattern indexes is different. With the increase of human's activity, the landscape fragmentation is becoming serious.②Having undergone the traditional agricultural era, the settlements in E'zhuang change from slow natural organic growth to relatively rapider division and it's obvious in macro and micro level. The interaction between natural environment, society and culture, economy and technique, institution and policy is the main influencing factors to the evolution of settlement landscape.③In the context of traditional agriculture, the amount of cultivated land is gradually reduced. The forms of agricultural landscape are diversified. Planting systems tend to simple and the farmers'working time is significantly shortened in the meanwhile. As a consequence, conversion of cropland to forest and grassland, together with the ecotourism development are the main driver forces.④Based on the landscape evaluation of traditional scenic tourism resources, the result displays for fourth level (The score is 78 and full score is 100). Taking rural landscape attraction as goal, using analytic hierarchy process, the result is higher attractive (The score is 7.56 and full score is 10). All these supply conditions for the development of tourism and artistic painting.⑤The different demographic characteristics between local residents, such as gender, age, educational level, family income and so on, lead to different perceptions and attitude to artistic painting and rural tourism industries. But it is a positive attitude on the overall level. Base on the game analysis between stakeholders in the development of painting and rural tourism, some countermeasures are put forward.
