This paper report the total dielectronic recombination (DR) rate coefficients, the total DR rate coefficients of Rydberg electron configuration series and state-to-state recombination rate coefficients have been studied for the system of H-like, He-like and Li-like of Mg and Al. All the calculation is based on Cowan's multi-configuration Hartree-Fock (HFR) code .Mg and Al are the element of lower atomic number and are easily ionized to be Hydrogen-like(H-like), which are suitable to diagnose the plasma temperature using the satellite line of dielectronic recombination. The aDR of H-like of Al is larger than that of Mg in high and low electron temperature and the peak position of Mg11+ and A112+ are 247eV and 291eV, respectively. It is main dielectronic recombination processes in low electron temperature for H-like and Li-like ions, and the resonance peak temperature of Li-like is lower than H-like's.In all the channel that we choose to calculate the total and state-to-state dielectronic recombination rate, there are only three channels important to the aDR: for H-like, it is 3pnp; for He-like, 1s3pnd; for Li-like, 1s23pnf. The aDR(Te) amplitude has close relationships with the spectator electron angular momentum 1 and spectator electron principal quantum number n. The aDR decrease with the increase of n and aDR will be very small if n>15.The energy levels in the same Rydberg state can be fitted as a pseudo-hydrogen-like ion. The DR satellite spectrum strength factor is the largest if the condition transition is satisfied, that is, â–³S=0, â–³L=1, â–³J=1. In some given DR satellite spectrum with the same ions, the satellite wavelength will become short with the active electron n increasing.
