Since Mesozoic-Cenozoic, China platform has been surrounded and compressed by three blocks, that is, Siberia platform in north, India platform in south and Pacific platform in east. During the compression coming above 3 directions geological dynamic setting, the crust of China has gone through collision in west and lift in east evolution history. The tectonic characteristic in China is a basic feature of block faulting. This unique geological tectonic background and special block faulting geological evolution history lay China geological features of "compressed from three directions (north, south, and east), continental deposit, rift-depression in Eastern-China and compression-depression in Western-China, active faulting, faces changing rapidly, multi-structure layers, frequent tectonic movement". The features determine fault unique position and special role during hydrocarbon accumulation forming, evolution, and distribution. These also determine geological background, material conditions and hydrocarbon accumulation occurring in conditions of Chinese distinctive feature petroliferous basin and hydrocarbon pools (including hydrocarbon-bearing proto-basin).Ji-Yang Sag is the one of seven large oil-generation Sags in Bohaiwan basin during Mesozoic and Cenozoic Period, which developed in the stable platform of the pre-Cambrian crystalline rock, Paleozoic carbonate rock and coal-bearing clastic rock, and with apparent composite pool-forming features. It consists of four depressions, that is, Dong-Ying depression; Zhan-Hua depression; Hui-Ming depression and Che-Zheng depression. It is the main advantageous area in the...
