The aimed areas of the southeast Sichuan lies bettween the high - steep structural zones and middle-slowly structural zones. The exploration results show that there are lots of the source-reservoir-caprock assemblages in the Paleozoic and Mesozoic strata, in which has the oil-gas prospected potentiality and has the bright future. But in this areas, the oil-gas prospected degree is still very low. There are a lot of problems of sedimentary facies, sequence stratigraphy and the reservoir research is waiting for studying. Besides that, both the clastic reservoir and carbonated rock reservoir are all difficult question for the exploration. Though the multi-discipline studies, this paper is aimed to carry out the identification and prediction of reservoir research of the main reservoir of south - east areas of the Sichuan province. And the system studying technique of identification and prediction of complication reservoir is put forward for the poor exploration degree areas with plenty of 2D seismic data..This paper, based on the multi-discipline studies , such as applying the reservoir sedimentary theory, high resolution sequence stratigraphy and seismic sequences analysis technology, under guided by the sedimentary facies, sequence stratigraphy and reservoir characteristic studies , combined with the facies control analysis, through the high resolution impedance inversion, main amplitude and seismic attributes intergration analysis , point out the really relative relationship between sedimentary facies and seismic facies. In the favourable areas of reservoir distribution , utilization some seismic lines, the auther carry out the AVO processe and explain, and through studying the reservoir identification and prediction technique, the new technique of reservoir identification and prediction is put forward , which of can be used in explored lower degree standard areas with a few 3D seismic data. And at the same time this technique can be used to do some research about some living example of south - east areas of the Sichuan province.
