In this thesis, the transfer ionization processes of He, Ne, Ar induced by Cq+(q=1-4) and Oq+(q=1-3) were investigated. The energy ranges are from 17.9- to 120-keV/amu for C1+, 30- to 323-keV/amu for C2+, 71.7- to 438-keV/amu for C3+, 287- to 480-keV/amu for C4+, 15.9- to 80.4-keV/amu for O1+, 30- to 254-keV/amu for O2+ and 63.5- to 321.6-keV/amu for O3+. The cross section ratios of transfer ionization to single electron capture are measured by scattering ion-recoil ion coincidence method and time of flight. The energy dependencies of the measured cross section ratios are presented. The transfer ionization is important in present energy range. The ratios vary strongly with the charge state, nuclear charge, electron structure and energy of projectile and with the structure of target. For a given projectile charge state, the ratio varies strongly with the energy and peaks at a certain energy. With the charge state increasing, the rations increase strongly and the maximums of ratios move towards higher energy. These results are analyzed based on the independent particle model and are compared with those of n-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo method .The differences between results of our experiment and those of nCTMC are analyzed simply.
