The Kalamaili gold belt is located in the north margin of the Junggar basin and includes the area to the south of Karmantai-Beitashan. As an important gold belt in Xinjiang, it belongs to the Kalamaili-Moqinwula mineralization belt (IV-grade metallogenic belt) of the Karamaili-Daerbute gold metallogenic belt (III-grade metallogenic belt).Synthesize geological exploration and scientific research of the typical gold deposits in Kalamaili gold belt, according to the controlling structures, metallogenic formation and ore-forming process, classify three types: Shuangquan gold deposit related to ductile-brittle shear zone, Huangyangshanxi gold deposit related to granite porphyry and Shuangfengshan gold deposits related to epicontinental volcanic.The Shuangquan gold deposit studies suggest that the gold mineralization is closely related to ductile-brittle shear zone. The major mineralization types is the altered rock-type, the other is quartz veins. The magmatic activity is weaker relationship to the gold mineralization.The ore-forming fluids was mainly derived from metamorphic fluid, with medium to low temperature and low salinity. 40Ar/39Ar isotope study shows that the main mineralization age varies between 269±9Ma and 260±4Ma.Studies suggest in the Huangyangshanxi gold deposit, gold mineralization is related to the alkaline granite porphyry vein. The gold-bearing granite porphyry vein geochemical data suggest that rock types are alkaline.Chemical composition is characterized by rich REE, enriched HREE, distinctδEu negative anomaly and distinct poor Ba, Sr, is the characteristics of the alkaline granite. The gold-bearing porphyry rock-forming and mineralization age varies between 318.4±1.1Ma and 310.3±2.6Ma. Petrology characteristics suggest that the rock-forming environment maybe close to the post-collision extension environmentStudy suggest that the gold mineralization is related to epicontinental volcanic in Shuangfengshan gold deposit. Main Ore is rhyolitic. The ore-forning model is two stages of a Subvolcanic rock or volcanic hot spring. The mineralization age is between the upper Carboniferous Epoch and upper Permian Epoch.The ore-forming environment is the extension stage. The genetic of mineral deposit is the characteristics of epithermal gold deposits.Regional fault structure is closely related to ore-forming. Ore-controlling structure is the ductile-brittle shear zone. Regional ductile shear zone controls gold deposits distribution. Brittle structure controls the gold deposit.The gold-copper deposit is close relationship with M-type plagioclase in early and mid Variscan, I-type granodiorite,basalt porphyry and andesite porphyry in mid-later Variscan.The stannum deposit is close relationship to alkaline A-type granite veins in later Variscan.Based upon DPIS of metallogenic forecasting method in regional gold metallogenic exploration, forecasting exploration prospect three areas:Jinshuiquan-Qingshui Au-Cu prospect area , Shuangquan-Eastern Sujiquan Au -Cu prospecting area, Songkaersu Cu-Au prospecting area.
