Nano-silver antimicrobial material has many advantages such as strong antibacterial, better durability, broad antibacterial spectrum, high security. As a long-term antibacterial material, nano-silver gets more and more extensive applications in the field of medicine, and the preparation of silver based antimicrobial nanocomposites is a hot topic recently. In this dissertation, we report a series of silver based nanocompositesand, the main results can be briefly described as follows:1. A series of silver/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanosheets composites with different amount of nano-silver were prepared with rGO as a carrier. The obtained nanocomposite were characterized by EDS, TEM and so on. The antibacterial properties of these nanocomposites were investigated by bacteriostatic curve, and the experiments show that the antibacterial properties of nano-silver/rGO antimicrobial materials were enhanced with the increase of the loading amount of silver. When the ratio of silver and rGO nanosheets components is 0.2, this nanocomposite shows excellent antibacterial properties. In comparison, the pure rGO nanosheets had no obvious bacteriostatic effect under the similar experimental conditions.2. Based on hydroxyapatite nanowillow reported previously by our group as supporter, we have prepared various hydroxyapatite nanocomposites with different amount of nanosilver assemblied onto their surfaces through facile electrostatic absorption. Then their properties were characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM,FT-IR. the inhibition curve and agar dilution method were employed to test their antimicrobial properties, and the results demonstrated that such HAP-Ag nanocomposites possess excellent antimicrobial properties.3. Based on nano-zinc oxide as supporter, we have prepared various nano-zinc oxide composite materials with different amount of nano-zinc oxide through photocatalytic reduction process. Then their properties were tested by UV-Vis,XRD,TEM. In this experiment, the inhibition curve method was employed to test their antimicrobial properties, and the results showed that the antimicrobial properties of this series materials were enhanced with the increase of ratio of silver to zinc oxide. When the ratio comes to 10:1, the antimicrobial properties arrives the best.
