Based on the basic characteristic of 3D current movement and considering the variation of vertical eddy coefficient from bottom to surface, the quasi-3D numerical model of the wind-induced current established by Koutitas and Han guoqi was improved and applied in the Taihu Lake, the results is verifed and satisfied in numerical simulation. Against the environmental protection problem of Taihu Lake, a three dimension water quality model is established, Simulating and analyzing main pollution target of Taihu Lake, some forward suggestion of prevention of Lake' s water pollution is obtained.Tidal current is the essential dynamic condition in the coastal zone and estuary and the basic active factor also to study the water environment and ecology problem. Using orthogonal curved grid, the coastal and estuarine numerical model of tidal current is established, Simulating the dynamic tidal current field in North branch of Changjiang River Estuary and combining the 3D water quality model, the variaton process of water quality in the North branch can be calculated and forecasted.
