The paper based on the problem of research and application of knowledge integration in the computer information technique and the artificial intelligence technique field, combined nation 863 program item -"The technology of knowledge engineering and knowledge management faced on enterprise knowledge innovative" and the item of nation natural science fund -"The research of organize management machine-made , model and tools of knowledge integration", applied the theories and methods of ontology, researched some key technology of enterprise knowledge integration and knowledge integration system.Chapter 1 carried on to discuss to the research background, present condition and significance of the knowledge management; introduced the research background of knowledge integration , analysed the present knowledge modeling, establish method and the problem have to be solve of knowledge integration system, explained foundation stone of knowledge integration , that is XML, RDF, Ontology; it summarized the research background , the concept and function of ontology, and application actuality, the signification that ontology applied in the knowledge integration . The appear of ontology will play a signification part in the development and application of knowledge integration theory; finally analysed demand, purpose and signification of this research.Chapter 2 studied the structure facing to the whole lifecycle knowledge ontology and the foundation stone of knowledge ontology —theories and methods of the ontology establishment, providing the basis to build up the business enterprise knowledge ontology for the business enterprise to carry out the knowledge integration. It give the ontology structure model, stressed on explaining the ontology constitution of description layer, memory and exchange layer , and logics and reasoning logically layer, as well as their foundation respectively, emphasized on the relationship of ontology layer and knowledge layer; it studied the method of the ontology establishment, give the methods system of ontology establishment. To take the product knowledge as an example, it give the process of establishing ontology.Chapter 3 studied a key technique of knowledge integration -the knowledge expression. Nail down the method of knowledge expression in this paper, give the hiberarchy of system semantic model, and the mixed expression method supporting formalization and non formalization; it selected 7 ontology languages (XOL, SHOE, OML, RDFS, OIL, DAML+OIL and OWL) in the various expression language nowadays, and compared in detail. The appreciation standards were mainly readability, express ability, and reasoning ability and so on. It choose the express language OWL with the ability of embodying semantics as the express language studied in this paper; to take the product knowledge in the business enterprise for example, it studied product the semantic model and the whole semantic express method for models; to take the grinding machine product for example, we should carry on the whole ontology description of the shaft parts, assemble body in OWL language.Chapter 4 aiming at the problem of knowledge share and knowledge integration, itstudied two key technique of integration. The ontology mapping as one key technique, studied the design principle of ontology mapping, give the system and structure of mapping, the step of mapping, emphasized on studying rules of mapping and methods of mapping and show us examples. To take data of XML as an example, it studied the definition of semantic mapping, ontology semantic mapping model, taking the text file carries out the ontology changing into the example as an example, explained that the method for carrying out ontology mapping and its function.
