| Dynamic voltage regulator(DVR) is a member of flexible AC transmission system(FACTS), it can solve the voltage stability problem of power system effectively because of its dynamic performance and small capacitance. The performance of DVR can be improved by using super-capacitor, which has better characteristics than other energy storage devices. In the project on 200kW DVR of super-capacitor storage energy, the main content of this paper is to research and design test system, digital filter and charging supply.For meeting the demands of DVR, test system adopts DSP-TMS320LF2407A as its central processing units. It can collect voltage data of power system accurately, and achieve collected data filter quickly by its own strong calculation ability. Test system has real-time communication function with other systems of DVR through CAN controller build-in DSP.Now, there are many digital filter Algorithm, but their calculation speed and result are not good enough to adopted by DVR. Voltage increment inertial filter Algorithm with amplitude distinguishing ability, can conquer the phase delay problem of the conventional inertial filter, and ensure the creditability of filtered voltage waveform at the point of amplitude sudden change. This simple and high efficiency Algorithm is applicable for DVR well.Compared with other energy storage devices, the charging time of super-capacitor is very short. Charging supply that can provide constant current is designed to ensure the security of super-capacitor during charging process, it has high precision output current and wide-range output voltage, and can finish charging process safetly.
