Prescription is the quintessence of Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine prescription's modernization is the key problem of the modernization of Chinese medicine.Focus on the overall hypothesis of Theory of Prescription; we studied on Dachuanxiongfang (DCX), which is cure for migraine. Take the prescription 's substance base and pharmacological action mechanism as the breakthrough point, the research observed OCX's original preparation, standard extract with different compatibility, efficient chemical constituents and efficient chemical substance's anti-migraine pharmacological action mechanism with applying advanced appliances such as confocal laser scanning microscopy, Doppler rheometer and HPLC, etc. The research explores OCX's pharmacological action mechanism and illustrates Chinese medicine prescription's compatibility on the different level of integer, tissue, cell and molecule. The result shows a single chemical substance or constituent can't retain not only the efficient substance of original Chinese medicine, but also the Chinese medicine prescription, and usually the prescription's one composing herb or constituent is consists with substances with opposite pharmacological function. This suggests there are compatibility relations lying in the prescription's one composing herb or constituent, and they can exert multi-level, multi-side effects with multi-component. DCX is a complex self-adapt system, and Chuanxiong and Gastrodia can reflect different compatibility relation as corporation or antagonism based on different condition of body or different target. This research verified the hypothesis that DCX cures migraine's mechanism though modulating the confusion of the nero-vasco-blood system with multi-route, and established an animal migraine model.This research provides experimental basis for DCX clinlic appliance, and will help to clarify the connotation the OCX's principal of prescription-building and regulation of compatibility.
