Objecttive: EBSPTR(Eliminating blood stasis and promoting tissue regeneration) is a effective therapeutic principle in TCM which uses in cerebral infarction . Eliminate blood stasis to promote new Luomai is a very important part which is similar with therapeutic angiogenesis. in recent years, therapeutic angiogenesis have been used in the therapy of some ischemic diseases , such as myocardial ischemic , and have a good effect on them . so it's the main research way in cerebral infarction now. in this paper we observed the influence of QUyushengxin soup to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) of penumbra of the model rats' brain , to study the efficiency and its mechanism of Eliminating blood stasis and promoting tissue regeneration therapy .Methods: 1,The theories research adopts bibliographic retrieval method, combine the experience of clinic practice. 2, The rats were divided into six groups randomly: normal group; sham operation group; model group; low dose group; middle dose group and high dose group. The model was made by the method of middle cerebral artery occlusion. On post operation days seven, the brain tissue samples were taken, which was used to assay the expression of VEGF mRNA in the samples with RT-PCR method; and the micro vascular density (MVD)of platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule (CD31) positive with immune histochemistry method.Results: 1. Eliminate blood stasis to promote new blood .Luomai and other tissue through Eliminating blood stasis to dredge Jingluo; adjusting the movement of Qi to circulate Qi and blood; nourishing tissue to promote tissue regeneration. At the same time, Eliminating blood stasis and promoting tissue regeneration are the closed two aspects. 2. Every dose of QUyushengxin soup could increase the expression of VEGF mRNA , especial the middle and high dose groups; Every dose of QUyushengxin soup could increase the expression of VEGF in model rats brain cells, comparing with normal group. sham operation group and model group, the difference were remarkable(P<0.05 orP<0.01). Especial the middle and high dose group, there were very significantly difference (P<0.01)between with model group, and significantly difference (P<0.05) between wi th low dose group. at the same time ,there was significantly difference (P<0.05)between them; The MVD of every dose group were increased than the others, especially the middle and high dose which increased obviously.Conclusion: EBSPTR therapy could increase the MVD of CD3.1 positive in model rats brain through increasing the expression of angiogenic factor-VEGF, both gene and albumen level.
