In this paper, fifty-two cases of condyloma acuminata were observed clinicoepidemiologically, and their biopsies were studied histopathologically and immunohistochemi-cally .The epidemiological results showed that the number of CA patients were prominatly increased, up to 62% of all STB patients in our clinic during the same period. The nedian age of the CA patients was higher than that of the total STD patients. Clinically, the lesions of CA could be classified as three types, namely hyperplastic. papular and verruca vulgaris-like. Also it was noted that the incidence of the partner of the patients with the history of extramarital sexual exposure was higher than those of the patients without such history, Histopathological examination showed that the characteristic changes of vacuolated celts (koilocytes) could be found in most of the sections.
