Unexpectedly tricyclic compound 4-phenyl-8-(N-methyl sulfamylmethyl)-2,3,3a,4,5,9b-hexahydrofuro[3,2-c]quinoline (2) was synthesized by 4-[4-(N-methylsulfamylmethyl)]-N-benzylaniline (1) and tetrahedronfuran (THF) under certain conditions.
