The Study On 10-23DNAzyme Against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Infection

In this study, we designed five specific 10-23DRzs targeting the mRNA of isocitrate lyase (ICL), an enzyme playing a pivotal role in the metabolism of M.tuberculosis in latent state. The cleavage activity of these 10-23DRzs on icl mRNA were appraised firstly in cell free conditions. The effects of 10-23DRz on the expression of Mtb ICL and survival of Mtb in macrophage and mice were also investigated.
