To investigate the expression levels of endogenous neural stem cells (NSCs) marker -nestin in HIBD model and the control groups. Methods 7-day old SD newborn rats weighed ll-15g were randomly divided into HIBD and the control groups(n=8).The rats were sacrificed at different given time points at 12h,ld,3d,7d,14d after HIBD respectively. The HIBD model was induced by ligation of right common carotid artery and then inhalation of 8% oxygen for 2 hours. The light and the electron microscope were used to observe the brain pathologicalchanges. The dynamic expression levels of nestin were determined by using immunofluorescence.
