Godadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) is decapepide that is originally isolated as a hypothalamic hormone and regulates the function of reproductive system by stimulating the release of gonadotropins from the anterior pituitary, and is regarded as a physiologic regulator. It regulates the formation of gameter and hormonic function through secreting as a pulse model from the hypothalamus and combining with a specific receptor named GnRH receptor in pituitary anterior to stimulate the secretion of LH and FSH. Recent studies found that GnRH and its receptor can be present in extra-hypothalamus and pituitary tissues, such as :gonad (ovary, testis, galactophore, prostate, placenta etc.) and adrenal cortex , regulate the normal function of these tissues and organs. While they are also present in some tumors that derive from sex axe or no-sex axe such as: ovary cancer, lung cancer, pancreas cancer and colon cancer to regulate the growth of these tumor cells. Our research found that GnRH can exist in gastric-intestinal and pancreas system,GnRH mRNA are also prsent in the organs above. While...
