Study â…¡ On Xenotransplantation

With the shortage of the donor's organ and rapid development of transplantation rejection molecular theory and cellular theory, heterogeneous transplantation becomes the focus of organ transplantation in the world. Especially with the successful cultivation of transgenic swine and establishment of all kinds of immunotolerance model, xenotransplantation has bright applied prospects. To avoid using large amount of radioactive rays to recipient in the course of transplantation and administering im-munosuppressant over a long time after the transplantation, we have designed the experiment of the combined heterogeneous transplantation of bone marrow and thymus on the basis of immunotolerance foring mechanism- We have successfully established rat to rabbit heterogeneous hemopoietic chimera model and rat cells survive in the recipient rabbit over a long period of time.
