Backgroud:Healthy and longevity are Healthy and longevity are eternal theme and ultimate challenge of life science. Senescence is increasingly critical nowadays, so it is significant to delay aging, prolong healthy time, shorten disease stage, improve the life quality of aged people. Studying longevity involve in human genetics, immunology, genomics, medicine, psychology, nutriology and so on, longevity gene is one of the reasons in the academic circles. At present, along with the completeness of human genome project and progression of functional genomics, the study on longevity/gene associations become worthy of attention. Currently, the investigated genes were focus on lipid metabolism, energy metabolism and immunity regulation, such as cholesterin transport protein (CETP), angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), anti-oncogene (P53), interleukin (IL-6,IL-10), insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I). These genes do not directly manipulate life span, but interact with environment together, by adjust responsibility for diseases. The Uygur nationality centenarian of Xinjiang Hotan distict, their population quanlity and relative ratio all obviously higher than average lev el of entire country, so Hotan distict is classified as one of longevity region in world by International Natural Insititute of Medicine. Moreover, because of environment, living characteristic, customs and habits, Uygur...
