With the deep researching on the chemical ingredients and its pharmacological functions to Ganodermu spp.it has been proved that Ganoderma ludidum possess various active ingredients and comprehensive biological functions with efficacies to human nervous system,breathing system, incretion and metabolizing system.It has also displayed different activities including improving immunity,cytotoxicity on hepatoma cell, antihypertension,hypoglycemia,antitumor, anti-senium and antiviral activities with an abroad applications in the areas of medicine and clinic,health care foods,cosmetic and so on.However,there are only 5 species which have been reseached at home and abroad,sush as G.lucidum, Gjaponicum, Gapplanatum, Gcapense and Gaustrole, the most widely researched of which is G.lucidum.Ganoderma atrum is considered the crown of Ganoderma spp. and beats all others into fits in medical curative effect to human health. It is mainly beneficial to nephritic action for Gatrum which have many efficacies such as enhancing immunization,sleeping peacefully at rest and healthy to the brain,and can regulate the multifold functions in human bodies if long-term taken in so as to improve the whole quality of bodies and health level. In order to study and explore the resource of Gatrum, we have systematically studied the Gatrum (in Ganzhou, Jiangxi) by the use of modern methods of isolation and analyses and biotechnology and established whole systematical methods about the active components and function experiments of Gatrum. The results laid the foundation of correlative theories and application for the product research of G.atrum. The main results and conclusions are as follows.1. The contents and transference characteristic of trace elements from Gatrum have been studied by the modern elements analytical methods. The contents of trace elements from the fruiting bodies and spores of Gatrum were compared with the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma lucidum and wild Gatrum.
