Lysimachia genus is a big medicinal genus of Primulaceae. There is few study on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activity of Lysimachia.A systematic phytochemical study on Lysimachia davuria Ledeb. and Lysimachia capillipes Hemsl. was carried out.Fifty two compounds were isolated from the ethanolic extracts of the whole plant of Lysimachia davuria Ledeb. Forty six of them were identified on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and physical constants, of which sixteen were new compounds and seventeen were isolated from the genus for the first time. And it is first time that a new saponin linked with glycerin and α -D- glycuronopyranoside was isolated. Among these new compounds ,there were fifteen saponins and one fatty ester, named davuricoside A( LDS-1), davuricoside B( LDS-2), davuricoside C( LDS-3) .davuricoside D( LDS-4), davuricoside E( LDS-6) .davuricoside F( LDS-10) .davuricoside G( LDS-11) .davuricoside H( LDS-12) .davuricoside I( LDS-13), davuricoside J( LDS-14) ,davuricoside K( LDS-15), davuricoside L( LDS-16) , davuricoside M( LDS-17) ,davuricoside N( LDS-18) , davuricoside O( LDS-19) and hexacosyl stearate (LD-4). Others were cyclaminorin (LDS-5),deglucocyclamin ( LDS-7), primulanin (LDS-8) ,cyclamiretin D-3-O- { β -D-xylopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→4) - [β-Z)-glucopyranosyl (1→2) ] } -α -L-arabinpyranoside (LDS-9), ethyl triacontanoate (LD-1), ethyl lacceroate (LD-2), ethyl tetratriacontanoate ( LD-3 ),palmitic acid ( LD-5), triacontanoic acid ( LD-6 ),oleanolic acid ( LD-7) p-Coumaric acid (LD-8) ,3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (LD-9 ),quercetin ( LD-10), quercetin-3-O- β -D-glucuronopyranoside ethyl ester ( LD-11), quercetin-3-O- β -D-glucopyranoside (LD-12), quercetin-3-O- β-D-galactopyranoside (LD-13), isorhamnetin-3-O-rhamnopyranosyl- (1-6) -glucopyranoside ( LD-14 ), rutin (LD-15), ethyl chlorogenate...
