1. Background and Objective:As change of living style, coronary artery disease is more and more and becoming predominant disease which threaten the humans health. The therapic methods of coronary artery disease have drug, surgical intervention and percutaneous coronary intervention, but the prostecdtive efficacy has not been ideal yet. At present, it still have no effective therapeutic choice for the treatment of coronary artery disease which is at stage of myocardial infarction,ischemia cardiomyopathy and diffuse vessel disease . Recently, cell transplantation and therapeutic angiogenesis provided two new methods for treatment of coronary artery disease and gained preliminary therapeutic effect to renovation of necrotic and apoptosis myocardium.Trials have found that acute myocardial ischemia may result in increase of circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) and the circulating EPCs may homing to ischemic tissue and facilitate regeneration of myocardium and blood vessel. Accordingly, it reduce myocardial cell necrosis and apoptosis for ischemia, improve cardiac function and decrease mortality. EPCs transplantation also accelerates reendothelialization of injured blood vessel endothelium, decreases neointimal thickening and reduces angiographic stenosis. Although EPCs transplantation for treatment of coronary artery diseases have already begun clinical study and have been confirmed to be effective through preliminary experiments. At present, it is difficult to obtain sufficient endothelial progenitor cells and it is not yet distinct that the mechanism which ischemia lead to endothelial progenitor cells mobilization and homing to ischemic myocardium.
