BACKGROUNDAs the most common carcinoma, breast cancer is seriously disserving the health of women. Prone to metastasis in early stage was considered as the main reason for the failure of therapy and the death of patients. A great deal of experimental work have approved that the process of tumor angiogenesis plays a central role in the growth, invasion and metastasis of various tumors. And the angiogenesis also significantly correlate with biological characteristics of tumor and prognosis of patients. Regional blood perfusion is the functional reflection of tumor microvessel, at the same time it can indirectly reflect the status of tumor proliferation and metabolism. Therefore, the researches on regional blood perfusion and metabolism have very important clinical significance on understanding the biological characteristics of breast cancer and judging the prognosis of patients. Up to now, whereas, there is not an efficient method that can be used to quantitatively detect the regional blood perfusion and metabolism status of tumor in vivo. The process of tumor angiogenesis is multistep and continuous, which is controlled together by tumor angiogenic growth factors (up-regulation) and tumor angiogenic inhibition factors (down-regulation). Recently, many new anti-angiogenic and anti-vascular agents targeting the tumor angiogenesis related factors are under...
