It had been well known that the characteristic of coronary heart disease (CHD) is coronary atherosclerosis and that coronary artery stenosis is caused by coronary atherosclerosis. However, what degree of coronary artery stenosis can cause the changes of the frequency and time —fequency components in electrocardiogram(ECG)? What is the physiological mechanism of the changes? What kind of relationship exists between coronary artery stenosis and the changes? What are the effects of vegetative nerves on the components? Many questions like thses are still unknown and needed further study.Using the method of quantitatively stenosed coronary artery , the relationship between stenosis degree and components in ECG's frequency and time—frequency domain was observed. The characteristic of these components with narrowed coronary artery was also studied. And the clinical implication of the features mentioned above was verified. The effects of the vegetative nerves were discussed too. The purpose of this thesis is to illustrate that ECG analysis in frequency and time—frequency domain could nonin-...
