| Objective: To discover the promotion of Du and restraining mechanism of JieduXiaotan Recipe by way of observing their effects on the expression of tumor-related cytokines and adhesion molecules in S180-tumor model interfered with formaldehyde. Methods: Du in the environment was modeled in the mice drinking 0.05% formaldehyde water and the serum p53 antibody was examined. 50 mice were divided into implanted group, control group,FT-207 group, XiaotanSanjie group,JieduXiaotan group randomly. Except the implanted group the mice drunk 0.05% formaldehyde water until the end of the experiment. On the 8th day the S180 tumor was implanted.48h after the surgery they were administered with isotonic saline 0.4ml ig. once a day, FT-207 dilution(5.85mg/ml) 0.4ml ip. once a day, XiaotanSanjie recipe ( 3.29g/ml ) and JieduXiaotan Recipe (4.12 g/ml)0.4ml ig. once a day respectively. The experiment terminated on the 4th week. The mice were sacrificed after blood sampling collection. The tumors were weighted and the expression of TNF-α,IL-8,VEGF,ICAM-1,TGF-β1 were examined by immunohistochemistry, ELISA or RT-PCR. Results: the weight of tumor and the expression of TNF-α,IL-8,VEGF,TGF-β1 were highest in formaldehyde group, lower in JieduXiaotan group than FT-207 group, XiaotanSanjie group. Conclusion: Formaldehyde promoted the development and progress, elevated the expression of TNF-α,IL-8,VEGF,TGF-β1. JieduXiaotan recipe had significant effect on formaldehyde's contribution to the development and progress of S180-tumor. |
