A Study Of The Language Of Gesell In Beijing

In this dissertation, the author studies the writing features and the grammatical forms of the written language in Geser.This dissertation contains Introduction, Conclusion and four Chapters. The. Overview of previous studies of Geser is introduced in the part Introduction, followed by study of characters in Geser in chapter 1, study of nouns, verbs and inflectionless morphological words in chapter 2, study of sentence composition in chapter 3, and study of words, dialect, loan-words and idioms in Sanskrit and Tibetan in medieval Mongolian language, in chapter 4. By comparing linguistic data from different eras, this study investigated grammars with illustrations, and explained several unique linguistic phenomena. Major opinion was pointed out in the part Conclusion, as well as predicted research trends.References, corpus-based data, index, and some photos of original Geser versions were presented in the Appendix.
