A Study Of Qinghua And Western Zhou Dynasty

Classical documents,Western Zhou bronze inscription and archaeological sources are the sources of the study of the Western Zhou dynasty history. The discovery of the Bamboo slips of Warring States collected in Tsinghua University is very important to knowledge the early historical events of Western Zhou dynasty as the unearthed ancient texts. This paper’s purpose is the study of some early historical events of Western Zhou dynasty according to <The Bamboos scripts of Warring States collected in Tsinghua University>(I,11). The view on King Wen’s reception of God’s order; the inspect of "San Jian";the view on WuGeng Rebellion and the appointment of Kang Shu are this paper’s major objectives.The first chapter of the paper is the "forward". This part elaborates the research present situation of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips and exposits the conception and method of this paper.The second chapter of the paper investigates the question of King Wen’s reception of God’s order. Reviewing the discussions of different dynasties scholars’, and putting at the question in the historical context of the late Shang dynasty. According to the Dagao, reveals the relationship between the God belief and kingship to investigate the meaning of King Wen’s reception of God’s order. Analysis the symbolizing meaning of Taisi’s dream in Chengwu,a bamboo slipped manuscript collected in Tsinghua University.The third chapter of the paper investigates the question of San Jian. This part elaborates the present study situation of San Jian. According to the Xi Nian, this part investigates the reasons to the setting of San Jian and the differences from the appointments of King Wu’s other brothers. The Shang Yi in the bamboo slipped manuscript is the key clue to knowledge the situation after the conquest of the capital of Shang dynasty.The forth of chapter of the paper investigates the question of Wu Geng rebellion and the appointment of Kang Shu. Luzisheng, in the bamboo slipped manuscript is the same person with Wu Geng according the investigation of the system of call Luzisheng. For the question of Kang Shu’s appointment, according to the bamboo slipped manuscript and bronze inscription, investigating the geographical position of Kang Qiu.
