As per the current producing condition and existing matters of Shengli oil field Laohekou 19th fault block formation reservoir, this article synthetically utilizes the geology, seism, logging, producing trends and other actual materials and uses High Resolution sequence stratigraphy theory to rebuild the stratigraphic sequence trellis for developing study of sedimentary facies, utilises stochastic modeling technology to combine sedimentology with reservoir modelling technology. Thus it studies the Guantao formation reservoir of Shengli oil field 19th fault block from the sedimentary, reservoir parameter, reservoir heterogeneity and other aspects , at last establishes the stratigraphic sequence , sediment microfacies and accurate reservoir parameter model of the block, at the same time analyzes the advantageous distributing areas and the heterogeneity of each single sand body.The research indicates that the Guantao formation of Shengli oil field 19th fault block can be divided into two subsegments: the upper and the lower. The upper segment of the Guantao formation is divided into 6 subsegments. Thereinto, the 3rd subsegment is the major reservoir of the research area. This subsegment can be divided into 2 sand groups and 6 single sand layers; The 3rd subsegment of upper segment of the Guantao formation belongs to the channel bar-parfacy sand deposit by low-sinuosity stream during a flood and mud deposit during a dry. The channel bar parfacy which sand body connectivity and physical property are good, is the main oil zone of the Guantao formation in Lao 19th fault block. The thesis characterize reservoir parameter distribution by setting up the quantitative geological model, synthetically analyzes the nonuniformity of the reservoir and concludes that the oil-bearing series interlamination heterogeneity is far more serious at the Guantao formation upside 3 subsegment in the region of interest. As for the in-layer heterogeneity, Ng31-3 is very weak, Ng32-2 is very serious. In termsof the areal heterogeneity , the nonuniformity along the direction northeast-southwest of each single sand body is weak, whearas the nonuniformity along northwest-southeast is strongest.By the research of the thesis, accurate reservoir parameter model is established. So reservoir distribution and heterogeneity are studied so as to deepen the knowledge of fault block geological features and provide evidence for oil field development and adjustment. At the same time, the modelling methods and train of thoughts on fault block reservoir are probed so as to provide certain direction significance for the congeneric reservoir research.
