On the basis of field investigation, the thesis determinedthe mechanical properties of major structural features inShouWangFen copper ore area.The structural systems in thisarea were differentiated by reference to the states of dis-tribution of stress and contrast of component parts in maj-or structural zone. The mechanical cause of ShouWangFen brushstructure and variabilities of mechanical features of vorti-cal surfaces were analysed by the method of mathematics andmechanics. The vortical faults were considered to be ore-forming structures of Cu-Fe ore deposit by reference to themineralization stages. The fluid mechanics was applied toanalyse the movement of ore-bearing fluid and deposits ofminerogenic material by combination of physical and mecha-nical condition with the distribution states of vorticalfaults and it's moving modes, on which the general teden-cy of distribution of Cu-Fe ore deposits in vortical faultswas analysed. The developmenp of structural systems wascombined with the distribution of Cu and other related ele-ments for a total analysis of mineralization. The variationof strain and components caused by movement of vortical fau-lts in fractured rocks and minerals was discussed.In the li-ght of analysing all factors of controling the distributionof ore deposit, a prediction of distribution of Cu-Fe ore de-posit was made.
