To manage and administrate the oil or gas reservoir, a reservoir optimization control issue is put forward based on the systems engineering and cybernetics theory, then a mathematical model used for reservoir production system optimization control on enhancing oil recovery through gas injection is established and solved according to the latest study conclusions of cybernetics theory and reservoir numeric simulation technique in this paper. Furthermore, the effectivity of the methods and technique on optimization control for reservoir production system is checked and a local application is implemented. The established mathematical model thinks the oil or gas reservoir exploitation system as study object looking into the dynamic behavior and differential seepage laws of the reservoir production system. The methods of differential and nonlinear programming, reservoir numeric simulation and its software are used in process of solving model. The results of optimization control were represented as some functions or curves controls and\or states variables vs. time.This paper expatiates systematically and completely the study object, content, aim and other properties of reservoir production optimization control issue, the theories and methods on establishment and solve of optimization control mathematics model which were involved into determining controls variables, states variables and capability target or charge function, presenting restrictions conditions and concrete optimization control issue, establishing the tnodel of reservoir numeric simulation, writing computer procedure, proceeding the research work on production mechanism, determining initial control schemes, checking the effectivity of optimum control technique, confirming the optimum control scheme, and so forth.. This paper has finished these researches, that it regards mining oil through gas injection and WAG from an oil reservoir as examples. Finally it applies the optimization control technique to a local application about CO2 huff and puff.
