| A large number of Papers which related to SAP theories were collected and researched, and the recently study achievements about SAP were learned and absorbed. Result indicated that at present research of SAP focused on the synthesis and application of new product, Research of the relationship between structure and capability, was not enough, especially properties about salt resisting, temperature resisting and improvement of intensity of gel after absorbing water was seldom reported. Therefore, in this paper, MMT-Starch/AA/AM was designed according to theory of intercalation and was synthesized by technology of intercalation, and MMT dispersed in polymer symmetrically.Na-MMT was chosen from Na-MMT, Ca-MMT, kaolinite and serciteas as the mineral fillers to synthesize the superabsorbent composite. It is significant for reducing the product cost and improving the comprehensive properties of the superabsorbent composite.Superabsorbent composite of MMT-Starch/AA/AM was synthesized by grafting in aqueous solution without nitrogen gas, resolving starch in monomer solution, and using partly neutralized acrylic acid and acrylamide as guest, MMT as host. With homogenous experimental design, and taking factors and effects of crossing action into consideration, obtained optimum synthesis conditions for MMT-Starch/AA/AM. Characterizing the structure by IR, XRD, SEM, TG and DSC, it indicated MMT was fully extended which equably dispersed in polymer, obtaining the result of intercalary polymerization.Comprehensive properties of SAP including the water absorbency and salt resisting, temperature resisting and intensity of gel has been increased through polymerized with MMT. This is because that the slice of MMT was fully extended and was dispersed to polymer, which has been compound on molecular level and colligated the capability of organism and inorganic material. So, there is very strong bonding strength in this structure. Thermal stability, absorbing water states and improving absorbent speed were researched.Three layers structure of MMT-Starch grafting absorbency composite was discovered, so its microscopic structure was deduced, and absorbency water mechanism is the comprehensive role of capillary effect, network structure, hydrophilic group, solubility parameter and ionic osmotic pressure. By SEM craze phenomenon in the cracking surface of MMT-Starch grafting absorbency composite was observed, which offered strong evidence that MMT increased strengthen and tenacity for polymer matrix. With interface improvement technology, interfacial adhesion of two-phase between MMT and polymer matrix has risen, and elasticity transitional zone model was designed. Put forward to the 3 stage models during swelling, discovered that glassy core disappear speed decided absorbent speed of the gel.Composite structure of polymer-inorganic that was introduced to modify SAP by designing and synthesizing the structure of SAP is still belong to primary step in China. In this paper, the intercalating structure of MMT-Starch grafting absorbencycomposite is studied, and the study enriches the research methods of high performance absorption materials and also develops the new thought ways to design the performance and structure of SAP. |
