Zinc and compounds have wide-ranging usage because of their better physical and chemical properties and gets favorable market ability and quotation. Zinc metallurgy is developing rapidly in china and has been the biggest county with zinc metallurgy production. Now the pyrometallurgy in zinc metallurgy techniques was being washed out because of more power consumption and serious pollution. Zinc hydrometallurgy is get zinc from zinc ore concentrate, which contains roasting-leaching-purify-electrolytic deposit in sequence. It produces SO2 in roasting process and pollute circumstance. It is important to study zinc metallurgy technics in order to decrease circumstance pollution and make zinc metallurgy develop healthly.Suspension electrolysis method is new method on zinc metallurgy. Its merit includes weak pollution, poor energy consumption and simple process.HCl-MCl2-H2O electrolyte system was adopted commonly in traditional zinc suspension electrolysis techniques. The equipment was eroded badly, good anode material was used and metal zinc can not been wined directly by HCl-MCl2-H2O electrolyte. We exploited zinc suspension electrolysis method which adopted the zinc sulfate electrolyte as suspension electrolysis system. This method can be united with zinc hydrometallurgy in being.We put zinc sulphide mine into different sulphate system and analyzed polarization curve about anodic oxidation.we found that the mine was oxidized effectively and the rapid oxidation happened when we adopted the zinc sulphide ore suspension electrolyte which contained ZnSO4,(NH4)2SO4 and H2SO4. This system was suffice to product metal zinc industrially. The appropriate suspension electrolyte composition consisted of zinc 90~130g/l,(NH4)2SO430~50g/l, H2SO430~50g/l, suspension electrolysis temperature 50℃, anodic oxidation potentiometer 0.6~0.8V. oxidizing feature which is oxidizing leaching of every element, studied kinetics of anode oxidation, analyzed oxidizing slag with XRD and SEM during suspension electrolysis of zinc sulphide mine.The results show that zinc sulphide concentrate in different suspension electrolysis solution can be oxidized. However, the ore in zinc sulphide, ammiaonia sulfate and sulfuric acid suspension electrolysis solution can be oxidized obviously and has better oxidation rate. The zinc oxidation leaching ratio can reach 86.73% in 96h.The oxidation mechanisms of zinc sulphide concentrate in different suspension electrolysis solution are almost same. However, the exchange current density in the process of oxidation is low and it will quicken electrochemical oxidation with the increasement of temperature. The electron transfer during the process of electrochemical oxidation is 1, and the electrochemical mechanism is:ZnS=Zn2++S-+eZn2++2S-=ZnS+S0Elemental sulfur in the oxidizing slag is treated with distillation process. The volatilization rate of sulfur is exceed 80%.The technological process of suspension electrolysis of zinc sulphide concentrate is obtained in this paper. As compared with traditional zinc concentrate hydrometallurgy, the technology omitted roasting and relieving hyperacidity with fume procedure, and produced sulfur. The technology, which can decrease environmental pollution and energy consumption in the zinc metallurgical process, is a new metallurgical technology.This paper's innovation is:1) The suspension electrolyte system based on zinc sulphate solution was put forward.
