By the end of East Han dynasty, Zhongjing synthesized the former achievements, built up Liujing Bianzheng theoretical system about the exogeneous febrile diseases, by connecting the theories to the clinical practices, and mixed up the theories, the therapies, the decoctions and the drugs. That is the sign of the formation of academic system about Shanghan. 2. The stage of handed on: The work lead up to the great change of the category of the art of Shanghan. Since then, the number of researchers large and they also brought up many good ideas, which are hardly paid attention to since there is little information. At the same time, the spreading course of can be explored more or less. Therefore, the stage is named the period of Shanghanlun handed on in this thesis. In this stage, the researches of the therapies, decoctions and the drugs were discussed, too. 3. The stage of the clinical practices being more important: This stage is from the collate of in Song dynasty to the exegesis of the work in Jin dynasty. Based on the former succession and arrangement, the researches about Shanghan turned gradually to the clinical exploration of the theoretical system of Liujing Bianzheng created by Zhongjing. And it is the founder of the coming stage. The stage of both the theories and practices being important: The completion of by Chengwuji, who was the forerunner of the researches of annotation to ; he theoretical system of the febrile diseases of Warm nature built up. 5. The stage of multi-methodology adopted to study the art of Shanghan: This stage began from the completion of the works written by Tangzonghai.
