The Intravenous Route Of Administration Of Volatile Anesthetics | Posted on:2004-12-11 | Degree:Doctor | Type:Dissertation | Country:China | Candidate:S Wang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:1114360185473518 | Subject:Cardiovascular anesthesia | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | There are several methods to measure the partition coefficients of inhalation anesthetics. Of these methods, double-equilibrium method is relatively simple and stable. We have established two kinds of double equilibrium methods: Syringe-Syringe and Syringe-Flask double equilibrium methods. We planned to detect the difference by using these two methods to determine the partition coefficients of desflurane, enflurane and halothane in saline and olive oil. Results: The S/Gs of desflurane, enflurane and halothane measured by syringe-syringe method were 0.32 ± 0.007, 0.73 ± 0.024 and 0.82 ± 0.016, O/Gs were 20.49 ± 0.88, 89.10 ± 5.23 and 182 .57 ± 23.51; the S/Gs of enflurane and halothane measured by syringe-flask method were 0.76 ± 0.029 and 0.88 ± 0.044, the O/Gs of desflurane, enflurane, and halothane were 19.93 ± 0.83, 96.02 ± 2.65 and 228.87 ± 6.74. Conclusion:...
