Acupuncture For Stasis Type 2 Diabetes Patients With Clinical Observation And The Mechanism Of Antioxidant

The diabetes is a common endocrine metabolism disease nowadays, type 2 diabetes was found to have the highest prevalence among them. The prevalence of diabetes was continuously on the increase in the whole world, the region in Asia including the mainland and Taiwan area had the same tendency. Diabetes itself was not certainly fearful, but careless and indiscreet it follows the chronic illness complication, like the chronic renal failure, the cardiovascular disease, lose one's sight, the amputation and so on. It was actually the major factor causes the above death, the disability, individual or the social economy burden.The medical care cost of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment was relative lowly, and the diabetes belonged to the second kind indication of acupuncture and moxibustion that WHO pronounced .Through this study; we explored the change of the diabetes patient's blood biochemical test, the metabolism imbalance and the cell oxidization with acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. The result of the clinical research of the acupuncture group(group A) compare to the comparison group(group C), we found the HbA1c value on the decrease significantly in group A compare to group C. The FBG value was significant to reduce in group A compare to group C (p<0.05).The ankle-brachial index had to reveal the restoration normal level in group A (p<0.01).
