Objective To study the antimicrobial activity of Ph-SA (Pheromonicin-Stapfiylococcus aureus)on wound infections after deep partial-thickness burns in rat.Methods Sixty Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats with deep partial-thickness burns were randomly divided into 3 groups—-Ph-SA group, vancomycin group and control group—-with twenty ones in each. The rats of Ph-SA group were treated externally once with Ph-SA, with the rats of vancomycin group treated with vancomycin, in contrast with the rest ones treated with 0.9% saline solution, respectively.
