| Professor jin hong zhu , as a teacher of acupuncture and Tuina and a doctor for several decades, is well-read, good at determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs, and treats diseases with skill of acupuncture and tuina, widely learned literarily, combined western medicine and Chinese medicine. He established the theory of treating Disease related to Spine with the method of Shujingtongdu (Unblocking meridians and Governor Vessel). The theory Tuina manipulations of Shujingtongdu is the main content of the theory. This paper aims at arranging and summarizing literaril theory of Professor Jin for further study and clinical application. This paper has finished following work:OBJECTIVE: to arrange and summary the clinical experience of my tutor about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) with Tuina. To observe the clinical effect of CFS treating with Tuina, explore its mechanism. To provide a new idea and method for CFS.METHODS: 90 cases patients with CFS were divided into 3 groups, one group is 30 cases, treating with Shujingtongdu Tuina, traditional tuina and medicines. To pbserve clinical sympotoms, fatigue scale, depression scales and immunization indexes.RESULTS: total effective rate the treating group is 92.31%, excellence rate is 65.38%, the control group 1 is 69.23% and 42.31%, the control group 2 is 48.00% and 24.00%. Total effective rate and excellence rate , the treating group>the control group 1>the control group 2 (P<0.05) .clinical symptom of pretherapy and posttherapy: accumulated points of 3 groups descended after treatment (P<0.01, P<0.05),. control group 1 is better the control group 2, That means Shujingtongdu is better than traditional Tuina and medicine. Fatigue scales points of pretherapy and posttherapy: accumulated points of 3 groups descended after treatment (P<0.01, P<0.05). Change of self-rating depressive scale and anxious scale is the same as the former. in clinical observation, Tuina manipulations of unblocking meridians and governor vessel can markedly improve clinical symptoms and signs of patients with CFS. Moreover, curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control groups and the former can improve clinical indexes more effectively with effective rate. In SF-36 questionnaire, 3 groups were improved on total health level, physiological angle, energy/fatigue than pretherapy, there is a significance dference. The treatment group were all improved on life quality, there is a significance dference. That means Shujingtongdu is better than traditional Tuina and medicine. Natural killer cell, the treatment group and control group 1 all were improved. control group 1 is better than control group 2, that means Shujingtongdu is better than traditional Tuina and medicine. Samely on humoral immunity the treatment group and control group 1 all were degreaced on C3, C4. IgG, IgM were improved. That means Shujingtongdu can correct complement (in blood serum). The treatment group and control group 1 CD4~+ were degreaced, CD3~+,CD8~+ were improved signifcancely. That indicates that Shujingtongdu can improve the function of the patients. And there is no sideeffects treating with Shujingtongdu and traditional Tuina.CONCLUSIONS: Tuina method of Shujingtongdu has good curative effect on treating CFS and can improve the security of manipulation treating CFS. The mechanism is that this method can improve microcirculation, effectively readjust cervical balance and spacial relationship between nerve roots and surrounding tissues, reduce anatomical structure to relieve symptoms. Shujingtongdu can improve life quality, sleepness, depression, anxiety. Most impoetantly can improve the patients' immunization level. Therefore, this method is worthy to popularize in clinic. Tuina method of unblocking meridians and governor vessel has good curative effect on treating CFS and can improve the security of manipulation treating CFS.
