On the global economic background where knowledge has become the main competitive element, "innovation" has increasingly become for many countries and organizers the key to gain competitive advantages. Improving people's subjectivity and promoting people's creativity has become the fundamental requirements the age imposes on people. Doctor students, as a whole, have now become the important source of excellent scientists of a nation and the main force of current scientific studies. So the performance of their creativity and the push of their innovative behaviour have already been the important factors in improving our country's international competitiveness and scientific research and creativity of colleges and universities.Creativity is a kind of people's potential ability and everyone is possessed of creativity. Based on these two basic concepts, this subject focuses on educational objectives of doctor students' creativity and innovative results, centering on the proposition of how to stimulate medical doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour. With military medical university and military medical doctor students as its empirical sample and the use of the method of combination of qualitative research and quantitative research, literature research and empirical research,theory construction and system research,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the subject starts to do some research on medical doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour driver and its structural model.The subject defines connotative features of medical students' creativity, innovative behaviours and innovation incentive.The subject also analyses the internal needs of doctors' innovation, and constructs and verifies medical doctors' creativity and innovative behaviour and its structural model.The subject has done some exploratory research on medical doctors' creativity and innovative behaviour driver, which will contribute to enriching theories of postgraduate innovative education and perfecting innovation incentive mechanism of postgraduate education.The research also has great practical significance in implementing effectively doctor students' innovation incentive and improving scientific and technological ability for innovation and competitive strength of our country's universities.The dissertation has seven chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.The introduction expatiates on the research background, meanings of the research, research contents, research hypothesis, and research ideas and methods.The second chapter summarizes and analyses creativity, innovative behaviour and its related theories, demand and incentive theory and its related researches, graduate students' incentive and high-level talents' incentive at home and abroad and its related research results, and puts forward the standpoints this research adopts.The third chapter analyses doctor students' research/study characteristics. This chapter illustrates advantages of the development of doctor students' creativity, and its also states that doctor students' creativity connotation is composed of creativity, innovative behaviour and innovative results. Doctor students' innovative behaviour has such characteristics as organization, internal relevancy and openness. Incentive, based on the internal need, is the necessary way to focus on the internal needs of doctor students' innovative behaviour, to guide the coordination between the internal need of doctor students' innovation and scientific research need, and to give full play to the doctor students' initiative and creativity of doing scientific researches.The fourth chapter does an empirical research on doctor students' internal need and the current incentive situation of military universities through the use of self-edited questionnaire of The Current Situation of the Need and incentive of Military Doctor Students' Innovation. The research shows the following aspects:⑴Economic reward, job autonomy, positive affetion, personal development, environmental supports, and job achievements are the internal needs of current military medical doctor students' innovation.The economic reward is what doctor students desires most.⑵Characteristics of internal needs of innovation vary according to the difference of universities, ages, sexes, professional titles and subject platforms.⑶The overall satisfaction of the needs of military students' innovation is lower, and they are most satisfied with the positive affection.⑷Currently, military universities has such problems in the inspiration of doctor students' innovation as lack of rational analysis of the needs of doctor students' innovation, lack of direction in the inspiration contents, putting more emphasis on the honour inspiration and less on economic reward inspiration, valuing scientific research work environment inspiration while ignoring scientific research work inspiration, standardization of evaluation and appraisal of research results with the overbalance of goal inspiration and negative inspiration, lack of elasticity of inspiration time with the inappropriate time, and oneness of inspiration type, lacking comprehensive incentive, etc.The fifth chapter selects 20 military medical doctor students' creativity and innovation behaviour drivers through the use of the method of qualitative research, such as expert in-depth interviews, expert consultation, and so on. The selection could be stated as follows:Obtaining diploma and degree certificate, obtaining the necessary income to secure their life,obtaining social benefits and economic benefits, obtaining the opportunities of promotion(personal development) and honours and rewards based on innovative results, obtaining some academic achievements and having some academic influence and academic standing, harmonious relations between the professors and their students, sweet love/happy family, acceptance of the scientific research team and the sense of belonging, free,open, harmonious, and innovative academic environment, innovative research objects, selection of /participation in challenging and innovative frontier subject, participation in high-level academic communication, mentor's guide and instruction,having a lot of accumulation in the subject one is working on, a scientific research full of creativity, being possessed of core values, good research environment and conditions(time, expenditure, information, technology platform),appraisal and management system of research results with the emphasis on the combination of quantity and quality, transparency of the distribution and the process of innovative resources.The sixth chapter constructs and verifies the structural model of military doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour driver through the use of questionnaire method, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis and reliability and validity examination of Structural Equation Model. The model can be listed as follows:To acquire means to obtain tangible items such as material money and even rare items include such intangible items as academic achievements and academic standing.To bond means to establish close relationships between doctor students and their mentors, their relatives and the organization.To comprehend means to satisfy doctor students' curiosity about understanding the high-grade, precise and advanced knowledge of related subjects and to put forward theoretical explanations and find the right opportunity, method and platform to make the right move and solutions.To defend means to establish a series of core values, management systems and environmental supports to counter and keep out the impacts and threats the external social environment and the internal environment of universities have on doctor students' innovation.The seventh chapter is conclusions and discussions.Main innovations of the research:1. Based on the research standpoint of internal needs and incentives, the research has deeply discussed the connotative features of development of medical doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour, and revealed the drivers behind the full play of medical doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour.2. New achievements of research results:(1)The research has given a relatively systematic definition and innovation to the connotation, features, behavioral model of doctor students' creativity and innovative behaviour, and also to the connotation based on doctor students' internal incentive.(2)with military medical doctor students as the empirical sample, the research puts forward that the internal needs of current medical students' innovation characterized by economic reward, job autonomy, positive affetion, personal development, environmental supports, and job achievements. The research also shows that characteristics of internal needs of innovation vary according to the difference of universities, ages, sexes, professional titles and subject platforms. All these results provide practical foundation to the universities to implement incentives of doctor students' innovation.(3)The research has constructs and verifies the structural model of medical doctor students' creativity and innovative driver. The structural model is composed of the structure of two phases and one factor with each phase composed of four factors, which means to acquire, to bond, to comprehend and to defend. The model can be used as the theoretical basis and empirical tool for many universities (subjects) to put into practice innovation incentive and evaluate doctor students' innovation incentive management of universities.(4)Based on the "four drivers"of doctor students' innovation incentive, the research puts forward the organization leverage to improve the doctor students' overall incentive level, which means to strengthen the performance evaluation based on the combination of material incentive and spiritual incentive of research contribution to satisfy the "acquire"driver, to build the culture which will promote free, open, harmonious, and innovative academic atmosphere for the subjects and academic teams to satisfy the "bond"driver, to let doctor students select or participate in the challenging and innovative frontier research subjects they are interested in to satisfy the "comprehend"driver, to formulate the appraisal and management system of research results with the emphasis on the integration of quantity and quality to satisfy the "defend"driver.
