This paper aims at probing into the background, characteristics of health care methodologies in wei jin nan bei chao (or Wei, Jin and North-South dynasties), studying the theories of health care practitioners (or scholars) so as to summarize some methods that are representative of that era and can be practiced in the modern days.The first part of this paper introduces the current situation & importance of health care studies. In the fast-developing modern days, it is rather meaningful to study the precious health care knowledge handed down by the ancestors.
