In modern society, it has never appeared so many female poets in creative writing poetry. Because of their efforts, it represents diversified and flourished landscape that is never seen before. Coming into the new age, it has some obvious changes that both are about the poetry which is created by female in the context of mass culture and are about comparing the 90s with the 80s. However, the research of the poetry in this period lags behind. There is no general, common and mature recognition and knowledge block in this part. Because it is vague and rough identity and not mentioned in most monographs, there is a huge space to study and research further for this dissertation.The research object is the poems written by female poets in 1990s. It is not a label, nor is it the female poets to stand in line. It is proposed as a survey view. The purpose is to seek the relevance among the predecessors, the contemporary female poets, and other writing community; it is to analyze the features of the poetry which is created by female in the context of mass culture in the 90s and to analyze the complicated aesthetic relationship between the western poetry and Chinese traditional poetry. It represents the heterogeneity features that are different from either the 80s or the new century female poets by studying and analyzing the above subjects.It includes six parts and the main body has four chapters.The part of introduction contains two aspects. One is about how to define the feminine poetry. Because of realizing the ambiguity of the critical utterance in the concept and definition, the dissertation will try to hold the neutral attitude. The aim is to make the sort of poetry return to the simplest meaning. That is to say, it just talks about the feminine poetry itself. And the other purpose is to clarify and comb the development of ancient and modern feminine poetry. The other is to interpret the diversity of the feminine poetry in the 90s. By clarifying the situation of domestic and abroad study as well as the existing problems, it will state the value and significance of this dissertation. Chapter 1 gives an overall view to the female poetry in the 90s in accordance with the mass consumption culture to reveal its complicated environment and survival state under the culture shock. Furthermore, from the point of culture industry it will explain the variation in the process of female poetry's production, spread and consumption, which comes from the influence of the mass consumption culture, and the variation shows the different features with the female poetry in the 80s. Meanwhile, it will analyze the cultural features of female poetry in the 90s as a role of the inheritance of female poetry in the 80s.Chapter 2 resurveys the female creative writing poetry from the angle of female consciousness. It tries to breakthrough and jump out of the mode of feminist criticism. By backing to the female poetry versions, it proofs the multi-dimensions and multi-level representations of the female consciousness which is in female poetry in the 90s. The development of female consciousness is clearly showed in female creative writing poems in the 90s. According to all of these, it reveals the poetry has their own features and emphasizes on different points. In addition, it represents the overlying of female consciousness that is of the multi-displays, the multi-dimensions and the multi-levels as well as shows the polyphonic either.Chapter 3 mainly discusses two writing orientations on female poetry in 90s of the 20th century, including body writing and intellectual writing. The complexity of the group of female poets and the rooted individual concept of writing flourish the female poets'scope in the 90s. The researches on two kinds of writings do not mean to show the writing mode of female poets, but to try to find out the common features of female poets'textures in the 90s.Chapter 4 mainly researches the textures through the point of view of common theme, poetic language and mutual percolation of style. Moreover, it grasps the essence of formational mechanism of language and the cross relation of literary environment in the national and the international literature. Meanwhile, it also researches the interactive relation between collective language and individual poetics in the poetry by female writers in the 90s, which highlights the amount of the individual elements in the collective language.The conclusion gives the suitable evaluation to the female poetry in the 90s, pointing out the exceeding achievement, comparing with the female poetry in the 80s, and the influence on the female poetry in the new century.Therefore, this dissertation, based on the social context of mass consumerism, probes the particularities and styles as a whole of the female poetries in 1990s. Starting from the lengthwise angle of the female poets and those texts, meanwhile from the breadthwise angle of giving the consideration of mass consumer culture, feminist consciousness, writing dimensions and poetic features synchronously, it presents the complexity and diversity of the female poets as groups and individuals in 1990s, and it differentiates the traits of these poetries particularly presented in the mass cultural context and analyzes their relation between the ones of western and traditional poetries. Moreover, it reveals that the writing of female poets shows a trend which is not only on time and logic but also on space which are paralleled and intersected. This kind of style starts a new way for female poetry writing.
