| The thesis, which discusses Economic Ethics, regards human economic course as an active process that economic subjects promote economic development under various economic systems. it contains four parts: Chapter 1 discusses the premise of Economic Ethics as follows: (1) whether in macro-fields or in micro-fields, and especially in the later, morals are related to human economic behavior closely, and the two sides of man ---one is the æºconomic man? the other is moral man? are the basic joint of Economics and Ethics. (2) The basic moral criterion on human economic abilities is Pareto Improvement, and it is realized by adding three factors: time, public goods or private goods and history. Chapter 2 analyses the ethics about three economic systems: planning economy, market economy and transition economy which means a process from planning economy to modem market economy. In one word, market economy especially modem market economy, reflects equality, freedom and other moral rules which accord with the direction of human moral progress, but planning economy does not. In order to establish modem market economy ethics as quick as possible, moral education, economic reform and other measures must be adopted in transition economy. Chapter 3 analyses the ethics about economic subjects, which includes enterprise, consumer and government. Although enterprise is an economic organization, but it has to have moral behaviors yet, it must obey some moral rules. In the same way, the consumer must do the same in consumption abilities too. The important thing is that the opinion of consumption must be changed to be ecological and moderate in modem times. The government is not only the administrating organization, but also the national economy meddler in modem market economy. Because the government is a sort of public organization, it must obey public morals in the administration of national economy. Chapter 4 discusses the ethics about economic development. First, it studies the mechanism of ethics influence on economic development according to the viewpointof New Institutional Economics. Then, it analyses the ethic issues in industrialized economy, and the conclusion is that the economic development must be turned to the state in which the human beings is its center. Finally, it studies briefly the ethic issues in information economy. |
