The first part centers on the foundations on which the two kinds of ultimate values have developed, that is, the formation and significance of the concepts of God and Tao. the second one dwells upon the creation and contens of the ultimate values. The third one analyzes the rationality and possibility of these values, and the last one expounds what these values signify in modern life of human being.
