Social Ideal Of Outline

It is a universal objective phenomenon in human history that human being is always pursuing and composing social ideal state. This thesis considers that this phenomenon has important significance of both ontology and theory of value. The understanding of this phenomenon can develop and deepen our study and exploration in the territory of theory of value as well as deepen and enlarge our comprehension and grasping to the human existence in practical style. For this reason, there is a need to regard this phenomenon as a theoretical question and to observe and study it specially.From the angle of life-practical style of human existent, human being's pursuing and composing of social ideal state roots in the inside temporal structure of human life-practice, which is a necessary command to human being as being and as practical subject. Although, since it is the construct of people themselves in concept, any kind of plan of ideal society is a 'fictitious' or 'virtual' object and then is accidental in a certain sense, it is inevitable for human being as being to pursue and compose ideal, which is, from the angle of the theory of human existence, a fact that can't be transformed. Therefore, in fact, it is unsuitable and impossible to 'remove', as is so called, human pursuit to ideal. What we can give up or 'remove' is not the ontological fact of 'the human pursuit to ideal' itself, but only some concrete form of ideal.The observation from the angle of theory of value indicates that the phenomenon of social ideal state belongs to the category of due-value relation and due-value consciousness. Relative to being-already-so value relation and being-already-so value consciousness, due-value relation and due-value consciousness reflect and highlight even more the trait of subjectivity in value phenomenon. This is because that due-value relation is one that human being firstly compose in concept mainly according to themselves' inside criterion, and displays as fully as possible the human nature of transcendence and creativeness. So it is the highest representation of subjectivity of human being as the subject of practice. Human being not only receives the present value relation passively and reflects them, but also pursues and composes ideal value relation positively. In other words, human being will never be content with the present state of society. However, they will always being pursuing more perfect and ideal society. Just the pursuit to ideal spurts the advance and progress of human society.Evidently, the attempt to avoid and remove human pursuit to ideal is not impracticable. Actually, the key of problems lies in how we should pursue ideal and what is the suitable method with which we compose social ideal state. On it, this article puts forwards as follows: (1) To combine the principle of subjectivity with that of the rational. The so-called principle of subjectivity means that human common needs are taken as the starting point and basis to compose social ideal state. In other words, we must illustrate social ideal state according to human common needs. The so-called the principle of the rational stresses that the composing of ideal must follows the logical rule of thinking and satisfies the command of value inference and demonstration. (2) To take happy life as the ultimate aim. It means that the project of social ideal state should take the universally realization of happy life as the purpose. In other words, ideal society is one that is beneficial to the realization of universal happy life. (3) To avoid any kind of style of thinking as Utopia. The common mistake of all Utopias in history is that they all tried to design a concrete system of ideal society while the concrete design separated value yardstick from historical yardstick. To avoid the mistake of Utopia, we must limit the composing of social ideal state to the level of value principal.In the final part, this article discusses these foundational value principles of the social ideal state that takes the justice as the value at the core.
