Rhetorical Activities Of National Cultural Characteristics

The national cultural specificity of the stylistic activity refers to the characteristics, born in the process of text creation and interpretation and in the formation of the stylistic color, which are related to the stylistic subject feature.The problem may stimulate the stylistic research and make the intercultural communication more effective. In the paper we put the latest theories, methods and results of the linguistic culturology into the stylistic research, use the descriptive and hermeneutic methods. The research is an attempt to analyze the stylistic activity and phenomenon from the national cultural view.In the statement we concentrated on the following questions: The first, the stylistic activity is systematic and integrative. Stylistic activity includes such elements as the stylistic subject (linguistic personality), the speech production (text) and stylistic effect (stylistic color). In fact the national cultural specificity of the stylistic activity lies in the process of text creation and interpretation by the stylistic subject, according to his national cultural features. It is based on the principles of the speech genre, text coherence and speech resources.It also lies in the formation and transformation of the stylistic color.The second, the stylistic subject is active and the stylistic activity is dialogic. As a stylistic subject the linguistic personality is the soul of the text organization and construction, it links the culture and the text. Its pragmatic and linguistic cognitive levers are full of national cultural characteristics, which determine the general orientation in the text creation and the text interpretation. "The other" is the hidden subject, the national cultural specificity of the other's speech helps the representatives of the same culture identify between themselves and may be an obstacle for the representatives of another culture.The third, the text plays a central role in the stylistic analysis. The text is the carrier of the national cultural specificity and the focus of the dialogue between the stylistic subjects. In the process of text creation, stylistic subject ought to focus attention on the following issues: the standard of the speech genre and the relative view of the value and beauty; the cognitive level of the communication partner and the ability to fill the lacuna in the text; the choice of the synonyms orientated on national culture. In the text interpretation, the interpretation stereotype determines the differences in the intercultural communication.The last, the stylistic color of the text has its organic composition. The national cultural stylistic color of the text is an important aspect of the stylistic effect, its formation is connected with the choice of verbal behavior tactics, in accordance with the language elements and the national cultural elements, with the choice of the linguistic culture units. The change of the above stated elements leads to the change of the national cultural stylistic color of the text.
