The Chinese ancient academic thought transformed in Sung Dynasty. In the course of changes , which contradiction and struggle did happen between Buddhist fellowship and the Confucian persuasion? What is the recognition and attitude to the contradiction? Why Buddhism can confluence with Confucianism? Which aspects of confucianization of Buddhism do embody? What is Buddhist's recognition and attitude to transformation of main spirit of Sung-hsueh and understandings of the Confucian's critique of Buddhism . the Confucian persuasion. the Confucian ethics. the Confucian history. the relation with three teachings? What does bring academic guide to the formation and development of Sung-hsueh and the rise of Neo-Confucianism in southern Sung? But the academic is very lack in it now, the question goes a step further necessary to discuss. This article, view as transformation and integration, analyses the relations with the Buddhist and Confucianism in Sung China based on the macroscopic and the microcosmic, the horizontal and the vertical. It is an important significance that we can re-interpret the intellectual and culture of thought in Sung China.Buddhist fellowship, who are not only qualities of confucianization, but also the standard of confucianization, go beyond the periods of history. I select the most symbolical Buddhists, for example, SHIH Chih-yuan ( early Sung), SHIH Ch'i-sung ( middle Sung), SHIH Tsung-kao, period of late northern Sung and early southern Sung), SHIH Chih-p'an ( late southern Sung), and discuss their process to confucianization and their attitude to Confucianism. And so on, I want to explain and demonstrate in a systematic way to effect of Neo-Confucian personalities prophet.This article is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter, based on qualities of materials, demonstrates the significance of the theme and discusses some problems of Sung Buddhism. Buddhist fellowship. research situation. main contents. historical materials and methods of study. The second chapter presents a discussion of Buddhist's recognition and response to the thought of the opposition to Buddhism. All the Critique of Buddhism and response to Confucian, are not only one of the important things in the rise of Confucian movement but also the features of the academic thought in Sung China. Comprehending the recognition and attitude to the opposition to Buddhism, We can analyze permeation.. combination and development of thought between Confucianism and Buddhism in the formation of Sung-hsueh, and examine the university of contradiction of Confucianism and Buddhism in the history of sung academic thought. The third chapter says on Buddhist's recognition to the Confucian persuasion. Buddhist fellowship have a deeply understanding of the Confucian Canon. the Confucian literature. the persuasion of doctrine of the mean% the Learning of mind-and-heart. enterprising thought and the Confucian figures. The fourth chapter discusses Buddhist's recognition and attitude to the Confucian ethics. Because the Confucian ethics is the core of the Confucian persuasion, Buddhism is contradictory with Confucianism when Buddhism spread into China. When Buddhism is confucianized in Sung China, Buddhist fellowship have a important change to the Confucian ethics. They do not only set their mind on the Confucian thought of 'Hsiao-Ch'in ' ( filial piety and fraternal duty)and 'Hsiao-Chung' ( heritage of hoyalty) but also lead into Buddhism in a theoretical and practical way. The fifth chapter focuses on Buddhist's knowledge and critique of the Confucian historiography. When the Confucian historiography changes in the middle of northern sung, Buddhist fellowship , for example, SHIH Tsan-ning ), SHIHTao-yuan , SHIH Hui-hong , SHIH Chih-p'an , criticize the change for the Confucian history and put new ideas before them. Through the history works of Buddhism in Ta-Tsang-Ching and Ssu-k'u-ch'uan-shu , We can see that Buddhism historiography does not only enrich Buddhism itself but also bring new the element to Chinese historiography even Ch...
