Feminine Novel "post-feminist"

Female criticism is actively living in the present Chinese literature critic circle. However, the usually used western modern feminism theory is in want of the research of Chinese female living situation and their literature situation. There is obstacle between western women's experience and Chinese women's experience, as well as the age gap, which means movement for women's right carried mainly in 1969s or 1970s, but Chinese rapid change happens in late 1990s. In the essay, I try to use "post-feminism", the female consciousness which characters individual or pragmatic or secular, to replace the classics feminism. This kind of change is caused by the female trouble condition of China in market mechanism and the disgusting consumer cultural influence, or the returning patriarchy all through the world as well. Its ambiguous attitude to the patriarchy is both disguised revolt to patriarchy, and the increasing devil to the social moral deterioration or worsening value.From the worsening female living condition, "post-feminism", the consumer gender mechanism, survey the gender value and love moral of Chinese women which living condition is no hopeful view. And it also can survey the gender value and love moral of contemporary female novels. Even it is a well reasoned thing of such female consciousness which consists individual or pragmatic or secular character carried in the naturally equal female novels. And I testify it from four respect: "showing female charm and constructing female subjective", "gender rhetoric between the dependence and utilization", "lack of words beyond gender", "ambiguous attitude in name of 'true representation'". To the theory I ask for the blindness of female criticism and its reason. From the whole literature situation and female situation, literature and women are both facing the problem of two-way choice in a consumer society. But the expending and overflowing "post-feminism" particularly need our consideration.To scholar research circle, I specially emphasize its actually reasoning strength. While female criticism must be associated whit the female reality and sexual politics. So our literature critics should not base on the female text analysis only, but it must extend beyond the literature text to the social respect. I think what influence an age's gender image not only consists the social cultural factors, such as the traditional patriarchy and female' unconsciously accept, but the social economic construct reason, such as the resource distribution, rights controlling. It is very important for bringing right's factor into the gender research. Here I try to take the example of"post-feminism" to ask for die relationship between contemporary female novels and Chinese contemporary politic and economic mechanism. That is to say, when we begin a new line from the western classic feminism theory to the actual female living condition and female literature gender creation, "post-feminism" can offer a useful angel of view to pursue the following question: Which kind of female consciousness is hidden in the con temporary vigorous literature narrate? What relationship is it with modem feminism? Why dose the narrative subject make such gender literature imagination? Why the whole happens in Chinese consumer age?So I say "post-feminism" may be the turning product from female's gender idealism to realism in the force of social rank mechanism and gender rank mechanism, and the need of literature narrate of consumer cultural atmosphere.
