The objective of this research focuses on the historical documentations and literature of Qian' Kingdom of Wuyue. The conclusions are reached as follows.Firstly, the historical book of The History of Wuyue, as a fundamental and most important book of the study of the history of Qian's kingdom, has 23 versions in mainland China. These 23 versions came from three sources, namely from the collections of Qian Zunwang's family in Shugu Dang Study in Qing dynasty, from the handwritten copies of the Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature compiled at the order of Emperor Qianlong for which Wu Chongxi wrote the postscripts, and from the block-printed version of Qian Dadao in 1599. The de luxe edition of The History of Wuyue is the version of the handwritten copies of the Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature rather than the version of collections of Four Books in Series and of Xuejing Taoyuan.Secondly, the writing and compilation of scholarly works in Qian's Wuyue Kingdom are prolific. Altogether, there are 49 authors with 125 works in 2,381 volumes. In addition to these 125 kinds of books there are 29 kinds of books whose volumes are unknown and 2 kinds of books in 12 volumes written by scholars in Qing dynasty. As far as the number of volumes is concerned, Buddhist monks, royal family scholars and aides to officials differ: 1,311 by Buddhist monks, 685 by scholars from royal families and 385 by aides to officials. As far as numbers of authors, kinds of books and volumes are concerned, Kindom's of Wuyue ranks 3 in Ten Kingdoms' period with its number of authors second to that of South Tang's dynasty and Post-Shu Kingdom, its kind of books second to that of South Tang's dynasty and Fore-Shu Kingdom and its number of volumes second to that of South Tang's dynasty and Chu Kingdom.Thirdly, the historical contributions done by Qian Liu to Zhejiang areas are demonstrated by both his wise political policies and economic policies.
