| This dissertation focuses on the research on the Literature Research Union (LRU) as an association & organization, from the angel of LRU's internal history evolution and personnel changes. The thesis briefs the lives of the main organisers and members of the LRU as well as their main publications and writings. The author manages to describe in detailed the history from LRU's initiation, establishment and its final demise. The thesis focuses on the LRU's group of journals including , , , , with the research emphasis on the journals' development history, personnel relationship and the editorial style. From research, author derived the conclusion that the LRU phenomenon testifies that the successful literature research is based on the combination of both the writer and intellectual's practical social experience, and their outstanding spirit of humanity. After the demise of the LRU, This combination was very well inherited, reflected and enhanced by the White Horse Lake (WHL) group of writers with Ye Sheng Tao as main representative. |
