To Treat Patients Waiting On Word Study

ZhuBingYuanHouLun is one of the most famous classic books for Chinese Medicine, which is written by Chao Yuanfang during Sui Dynasty. There are many spoken language words as well as many medicinal terms in this book, so the book has an important research value. To widen the research field of linguistics, this thesis focuses on the research of words in ZhuBingYuanHouLun.This thesis consists of four chapters. In chapter 1, the characteristics of linguistics materials in ZhuBingYuanHouLun are analyzed based on three sides of times, spoken language words and specialty. And one conclusion is induced that ZhuBingYuanHouLun is a trustable linguistics materials for the study of mediaeval Chinese language. Further more, the importance for words research ZhuBingYuanHouLun is also presented through the instant analysis. In chapter 2, the details of words meanings of ZhuBingYuanHouLun are studied in detail. As for the words meanings of ZhuBingYuanHouLun , there are two main characteristics: one is mass appearance of new words, and other is the phenomenon of abundant words with synonymous meaning. In this book, new words and old words often co-exist for almost every group of synonymous words. Considering the close relationship between new words and old words, the case study of new words is combined with the systematical study of synonymous words. And there are eight group synonymous words are studied in this chapter. Based on the usage of every word in this book and also with comparison of times, some special rules for the form of synonymous words are proposed in this chapter. Chapter 3 focuses on the study of morphology, especially on the analysis of special characteristics of morphology in ZhuBingYuanHouLun such as the active elements of word-building, change of affix, mass usage of polysyllabic words with geminational style and the appearance of new style of gemination. The study done in this chapter is based on the analysis of many medicine words such as "Bian" and "Xu". Chapter 4 focuses the study on the kind of words with the meaning of cure. Based on the static describe of the kind of words with the meaning of cure, the distributing, usage and evolvement of them are further reviewed, then some special rules in them are induced with all the analysis.
