Researches On Three Forms Of And Its Classical Explanation

As the creed of all sutras, set up the figure of the whole Buddhism philosophy because of its all—sided and profound principles.It has brought great and far—reaching effects to the philosophy, literature,art and daily lives of Chinese people,and even to the whole national spirit which was born since Jin dynasty.Totally,there are three translational forms of:sixty volumes,eighty volumes and forty volumes,and 380 years was taken for them to be translated.When it came to Tang danasty, the culmination to the translation ,research and acception of was reached with the classical explanations of,which was made by "the five founders of (Dushun,Zhiyan,Fazang,Chengguan,Zongmi) and Mr. Li Tongxuan.With the prospect of philology and philosophy, and its classical explanations are discussed in this article.That is to say, based on philological research of, It lies the emphases on the texts and the classical explanations of .The first section of this article aimed at the historical and philological research of .In the first chapter, the derivation of this important sutra are invesgated.It was Confucianism and Taoism,the social fashion of canonizing Buddhism,and the translation of other branches sutra of that had close relations with 's introduction. The translation of and its text are discussed in the second chapter,and the formation of other branches of are researched in the third chapter of this article.The second section of this article aimed at the the classical explanations of "the five founder of and Mr. Li Tongxuan. Both of their respective thought and the relationship among their thoughts are discussed. It was their endeavor to transmitting foreignal wisdom that enlighted our further research : how the work of their classical explanations were related with the spirits of Tang dynasty.In the forth chapter,Dushun's thought of "Five Buddhism Theory " and "Ten Profound Buddhism Principles " advanced by Zhiyan, animadversional theory brought forth by Fazang ,who also advanced "New Ten Profound Principles"and "Six Buddhism Category "are described. In the fifth chapter,deepened thoughts to Buddhism category of "Four Immaterial Universe",which was made by Chengguan ,and Zongmi's attemption to melting Confucianism ,Taoism and Buddhism by his article was discussed.In the last chapter, the explanations of made by Mr. Li Tongxuan are discussed.
